VidElation Charismatic Characters

The day I became … a carpet cleaner …

It started as a quite day at the office …

Vicky was busy with some legal documents …

Then she got a phone call … with some DREADFUL news

After she calmed down, she realised there was only one solution …

Call DAVID at Digi Carpet Cleaners … he could swoop in and save the day!

I created the above video using the characters from the VidElation Charismatic Characters pack.

OVERALL VERDICT: A high-quality collection of animated graphics characters available in a wide variety of formats, so that you can use them in almost any graphics/video editing tool. I liked the fact that you can have the SWF version for use in tools like Explaindio, but you also get MOV version for tools like Camtasia … and even better there’s animated GIF version that you can immediately use on webpages, and in powerpoint. It seems like all possible uses are catered for.

There’s a bonus added to the product … a set of 500 sound effects that you can use in your videos … this bonus alone is actually worth the price of the main package … or more. It’s not often that you can get ahold of sound effect files … so this actually a very valuable bonus. I actually purchased this same Sound Effect package separately .. and paid more than the total price for the Videlation Charismatic Character pack.

Negatives: The characters are more intended for Offline/Local Marketing needs, because there are a few offline niche services included … although they could be used in other ways too.

Worth investing in?: If you’re an offline-marketer creating videos for local business, then this is an absolute no-brainer … don’t think … just get it.

If you’re an online marketer, then some of the characters aren’t quite as valuable to you … but there’s always ways to work them into stories you might want to tell in your marketing … but the Sound Effects package is worth more than the cost of the Charismatic Character pack and is definitely worth having even if you don’t feel the characters are essential.
